It's our second anniversary, and I have had what may well be the quintessential Melbourne weekend: cocktails vs wine and slow-cooked lamb at Maha, a late-night movie at Cinema Nova, a café opening across the road from my house, parma at my local pub while watching the AFL Grand Final, cricket training and the Complete Works of Shakespeare at the Fringe Festival. Very Melbourne indeed! Happy anniversary. Where did you call home before Melbourne?
Perth, of course... some days it seems Melbourne is full of ex-Perth types.
It's still home, in a way, as is Melbourne now, which can get rather confusing.
